Here's my critique.
Wow, this is certainly a unique and interesting photo! I'm going to take it that it's a building of some sort.
You have certainly used HDR to this photos advantage, as HDR just suits this type of odd find.
I like the composition, you've placed the whole of the building in the centre of the photo, so it draws the viewers attention straight away.
The depth of field is good as well, everything that should be in focus, is.
One main problem with HDR's are that you find you get a lot of noise in your finished photo. In full view, I can see a bit of noise in the clouds. But it certainly doesn't take away from the rest of the photo.
Were you using a tripod for this? Just make sure you're keeping your horizon level
I also like the contrast of the colours here, I like the dark grey clouds against the lighter sand and the building.
All in all, a good photo, and a great find. Keep up the good work
yeah, it totally looks like it's dropped out of the sky, which gives the image this great surreality. Makes me very much think of Wizard of Oz, like it's been lifted up and deposited there by a tornado like Dorothy's house.
I adore the graffiti on the concrete - what? , wartime lookout post? toilet block? It adds an extra element and layer, and I like this very urban touch in a natural beach setting.
